Entrecard does a great job bringing unique traffic to your site. Many other bloggers compare it to blogrush, and how its far superior. I’ve personally never used blogrush (and won’t because of the negative reviews) so I can’t make that comparison. In only two months Entrecard has grown by thousands of users and is only growing faster.
Their traffic system works on the basis that everyone drops their “entrecard” (like a business card/ad) at other peoples sites who are also members. Then, my card goes in their inbox, and we both get a credit. Now since my card is in their inbox, hopefully they’ll come to my site and drop theirs. With these credits, one can buy advertising in the card widget (below and sidebar).
It seems Entrecard is loved by most of its users. I am one of those users. The rest of the people complain that entrecard users do not read their blog, and only waste bandwidth. They claim they scroll down to the widget and click it, without looking at anything else. This is easily proven wrong by looking at my past comments. Before I signed up with entrecard, I had very few comments (as I am a fairly new blog). After, my readers, subscribers, and comments all soared.
While many people may go directly to the card and not read a single word, a portion of those do not. It is up to the blogger to attract their attention with a title, picture, graphic, or whatever. The hardest part has already been accomplished (GET them to my site), now the ball is in my court.
Since joining entrecard, I have checked out a few similar sites, such as Blogsoldiers and Sitehoppin, but none have had any results near entrecard. Nor do they show the extreme growth on alexa+compete. Entrecard is growing very quickly, I’m just glad I got in early! They get my vote. If you haven’t yet, you should sign up for sure.

BlogRush was pretty much useless for me. So far I’ve been really happy with entrecard though.

Guilty! Sometimes I don’t read much on the blog, I just look at the pretty pictures!
However, if something catches my eye (like your blog) I stick around and read a bit. I don’t think blogrush has done much for me either, and I love entrecard, it’s exposed me (with ease) to a bunch of blogs I never would’ve found.

I’m addicted… and it’s good. I’m learning to actually slow down and leave comments. Pretty soon, I’ll learn how to Stumble, etc.
Every time I hit a site, if there’s a new post, I’m hooked. First, read the post, then comment… oh, and don’t forget to drop my card.

It’s not true that Entrecard users don’t comment. Personally, if I find a post that interests me, I’ll comment or at the very least read it.

Huge agreement from me. So far the best part of entrecard (and I just started using today) has been the increase in comments, with the added traffic being a nice bonus.

I have been dropping religiously and just want to share that its really fun and enjoying dropping and giving comments. Though its very time consuming to give comments on 300 blogsites a day, i cant do that , i just stop on blogs that catch my attention and your one of this. When i start dropping 300 a day my total visitors increased. And there a room for improvement, though my blogsite was locked for four days. Enjoy blogging
